Moved by Conflict: Object 4: Sewing Kit

This sewing kit was issued to Albert Clark when he joined the Gloucestershire Regiment. It contains safety pins, buttons and thread to allow him to repair his uniform. Albert also carried a photograph of his sweetheart, Elsie Pearce, with him. His will, made out in the back of his Soldier’s Pay Book, left everything he owned to Elsie. (ref TD5001)
